MANAGER’S NOTE:

The sales agent will become comfortable with certain tools and less comfortable with others. It is important for the agents to be able to utilize all the tools provided to them as not all buyers absorb information the same way. Being able to use all the tools will help the agent grab the attention of the customer.

Sharpen your sales tools

There are many tools available to you as a sales agent. Using the tools correctly will help you sell more efficiently. From time to time review how you are using the following:

Sales Floor

  • Touch screens offer video content, site map, area maps, community information, floor plan layout, print capability
  • Large topo map paints a picture of the overall community
  • Marketing displays, renderings and product samples

Model Center

  • Each home features sample products, layouts and options
  • In most model centers a standard home is available to review standard features

Design Center

  • Option Coordinators and Design Center assistants can be utilized to answer questions
  • Standard feature displays
  • Product samples
  • Display areas
  • Sample books and catalogues

Managers

  • Onsite management team to quickly answer questions and concerns
  • Provide advice and alternative selling tactics
