The purpose of this workbook is to serve as a tool to get you ready to sell for GL Homes. You will use this workbook in conjunction with your community’s Sales Manual and onsite training. The goal of your training period is to prepare you to perform at the highest level as soon as you hit the sales floor.
The training period typically lasts about 3-4 weeks
Week 1: Review product, complete competitive shops and learn back end systems
Week 2: Shadow and accompany other sales agents and option coordinators
Week 3-4: Master your sales path and complete a mock presentation

Once you have checked off all items in the “You Are Ready” section and performed a mock sales presentation for your Project Manager, you will be ready to start selling.

During my 19-year career with GL Homes I’ve worked in almost every department prior to becoming president – from construction to finance to land management. My father and Chairman Itchko Ezratti always says how important it is to being out there in the field. How important it was for me to learn the ins and outs of the company, and what everyone else is doing, and then bring my own attitude, knowledge and perspective to it.
Now, after my experience, I challenge you to do the same. Become a GL expert in all aspects and I have no doubt your confidence and GL knowledge will help you succeed. Lastly, I will send you off on your new journey with this last thought. Homes are the foundations upon which families and communities grow. Never forget what you are helping to build.
